Shawn is currently an associate at Hangar 41 Architects. Previously, Shawn was with Powers Brown Architecture in Denver, CO. He holds an M.Arch from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Shawn participated in two design-build studios focusing on green design and construction; one of which partnered with Design BuildBLUFF. His interests lie in integrated project delivery, design-build, performative design, and prefabrication building. Since 2004, Shawn has had multiple architectural internships including such firms as PWN Architects and MAI design group [previously known as marsh and associates inc.]. Notable projects include: HOZHO house, the Club at Pine Canyon [golf clubhouse], Avis Budget group’s Select & Go program signage and design for Bank of America.

He participates and captains in local Ultimate-Frisbee leagues including, grass roots ultimate, colorado core, and mile high ultimate. Shawn has taken up stenciling and spray painting, inspired by a highly regarded street artist called Banksy.
